What the interest form collects

Your name, email address, role, interest, and consent, plus a message if you provide one. We use these details to respond to relevant enquiries and communicate about Aner.

Where it goes

Submissions are stored on the website’s server. This form does not automatically subscribe you to an external marketing service or send a confirmation email. Access is limited to the project’s operators.

Retention and removal

The configured default retention is 90 days from your latest submission for each interest. Submitting the same email and interest again updates your details and consent; expired submissions are removed during routine storage maintenance. Backups may follow a separate retention schedule. To ask for a copy or removal of your information, contact contact@anerlang.org from the address you submitted.

Traffic statistics

We use traffic measurement tools to understand how our public pages are used and to improve the service. Measurement starts when a page loads, without a consent prompt. The tools use cookies to distinguish browsers and visits and produce aggregate reports.

Our analytics service receives technical information, including browser and device details and the network address used to connect to it. We send approved page addresses without query strings or fragments, and omit referral addresses. We do not send form contents or contact details, or enable advertising personalization.

Analytics cookies are limited to this website and configured to expire after 90 days without renewal. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals, and previously saved analytics refusals until they expire. You can also block analytics through browser settings or extensions. We also keep anonymous daily totals of requests for public pages on our own server. These totals contain only a page address, date, and count. They do not identify individual visitors or include network addresses, browser details, referral addresses, query strings, or form contents. Totals outside the latest 90 calendar days are removed when statistics are next updated or reviewed.

Operational data

The form uses temporary request counters to reduce automated submissions. When the server is configured to receive a trustworthy client address, it stores a keyed hash for rate limiting rather than the raw address in the interest database. Hosting infrastructure may keep its own security logs.

Fonts and brand assets are served by the site.

Keep research data out of the form

Describe your workflow rather than sending patient records, confidential datasets, passwords, or other sensitive material. We can discuss an appropriate way to collaborate separately.
